I was responsible for tech designing and drafting a table that would be able to support multiple actors, dancing, and slamming, while also having the appearance of a Scandinavian IKEA table. To accomplish this, I utilized the torsion box method, which allowed me to create a table that was both lightweight and incredibly strong.

I used the CNC to precisely cut and shape the table, ensuring that all of the pieces fit together seamlessly and that the finished product was both sturdy and visually striking. I used a V bit fold over method where I cut the table with a V bit and leaving just enough material for it to fold over. This is so the wood grain would waterfall. This took many tests and a lot of hours cadding and programming into VCarve.
