I want a country

element supervisor

I was the technical director for I Want a Country. I was involved a wide range of responsibilities, including communication with the production team, drafting plans, budgeting, ordering materials, scheduling, and managing labor.

One big detail we had to be cautious of was to stay within building codes and safety regulations throughout the production process. Most of what we build was for audience seating.

I faced and overcame many challenges, learning how to work around difficulties of the production is one of them. Also staying organized and having a detailed plan, the beginning of the build process was a mess but we adapted and we had the entire team working like a well oiled machine.

Overall, my work as the technical director for I Want a Country allowed me to showcase my skills as a communicator, planner, and problem solver. It was a challenging and rewarding experience.
